What is IRIS?
IRIS is a collection of 10,000 physical artworks.
Each piece contains an individual eye artwork, 0.4 g of real gold, and an embedded NFC chip.
Each artwork is unique.
Do I choose my artwork?
No.
When purchasing an IRIS, you do not select a specific piece. The artwork remains unrevealed until activation.
When is the artwork revealed?
The artwork reveals itself only after:
- Physical delivery
- NFC activation
Activation is required to view your specific artwork and its rarity.
What is NFC activation?
Each IRIS contains an embedded NFC chip. After receiving your artwork, you scan the chip with your phone. You will be directed to the activation page.
Once activated:
- Ownership is registered
- The artwork is revealed
- The digital passport becomes accessible
Activation is irreversible.
What is the digital passport?
The digital passport is a permanent record of the artwork.
It includes:
- Artwork ID
- Rarity
- Activation date
- Ownership history
The passport records facts. It does not assign value.
How is rarity determined?
Rarity is assigned before any artwork is sold.
The structure of the collection consists of:
- 5,000 black impressions
- 3,000 color impressions on white paper
- 1,500 white impressions on black paper
- 400 color impressions on colored paper
- 100 original works
Rarity cannot be modified after release.
Can rarity be changed?
No.
Rarity is locked before distribution and cannot be adjusted afterward.
Is IRIS an NFT?
No.
IRIS is a physical artwork. Ownership is established through NFC activation, not blockchain tokens.
No cryptocurrency or digital wallet is required.
Can I transfer ownership?
Ownership transfer functionality may be introduced in the future.
Currently, ownership is recorded upon activation and remains tied to the activated account.
What happens if I do not activate my IRIS?
Until activation:
- The artwork remains unrevealed
- Ownership is not registered
Activation is required to complete the ownership process.
Is the gold symbolic?
No.
Each IRIS physically contains 0.4 grams of 24k gold embedded within the artwork.
The gold is a material element of the piece.
